Every so often I receive music in my inbox that I legitimately enjoy. This past week, a local Chicago group that I had been hearing of lately caught my attention. MANWOLVES, provides a refreshing sound that will have everyone vibing to their music. The track, titled "These Days" is the type of track that can lift you when sad, and keep things rolling when you're happy. I played the track about 9 times on repeat and you better believe that it is an early contender for one of my 2016 Chicago favorites. As soon as the horns kick in at the beginning, you will completely understand what kind of experience this track will provide. It's rare that a song actually gets better as it goes on, but MANWOLVES succeeded in ensuring that it does.
It has been increasingly difficult to find new talent that willingly utilizes a live band. Much of the music consumed only nurtures the relationship between an producer and an artist. MANWOLVES utilizes several live instruments to provide the listener with something that is worth remembering. When I imagine this track live, I feel the same energy as when I listen to Chance and the Social Experiment. I will definitely make it a point to see them live very soon. Check out the track and be sure to tell a friend.
